The tank on this 1970's Honda 250 was quite rusty so it was grit blasted and then etch primed to ensure a solid, protected surface for the candy topcoat. I had to obtain this paint from an outside source to guarantee a perfect colour match. All the striping on the tank has been lacquered smooth, the photos don't do this job justice, a deep metallic red with possible an ‘over restored' shine to all the parts.
